Dr. William Hunt, a native of Poquoson, Virginia is a third generation dentist. After completing his undergraduate studies at the Virginia Military Institute, Dr. William Hunt earned his degree of Doctor of Medical Dentistry from the Medical University of South Carolina. Following dental school, he served in the Active Army Dental Corps for three years and retired from the Army Reserves after 30 plus years of service with attaining the rank of Colonel. He is a veteran of Desert Storm, Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. Dr. Bill is committed to providing quality dental care and furthering his knowledge. He has continued his post-graduate studies at:

• Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Key Biscayne, Florida
• Dawson Center for the Advanced Dental Study in St. Petersburg, Florida
• The Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies
• The Nash Institute for Dental Learning in Charlotte, North Carolina
• Has attended multiple Invisalign Courses and participates in studies clubs
• Spear Education, and many more
• Dental Sleep Medicine Qualified and is actively pursuing his Diplomate Status

In his free time Dr. Bill enjoys boating, traveling, and is an automobile enthusiast. He is devoted to his community through serving as a board member for Old Point National Trust and The Virginia Air and Space Museum. Additionally, he is a member of The Scottish Rite, The Poquoson Masonic Lodge No. 49, and The Hampton Roads German Club.
